When we first started Dungeon Online, we called it "Kirby Online"

Because it was so old, that the sprites for the charectors were kirby...

We copied most of the armor/wepons from Runescape.

When we started this, we had no clue about all the other random junk you had to do...

"What might be the other random junk?" Well, that would be outside of the game work... We did not have to program or anything like that, but we had no clue what was going to be ahead of us.

We slowly proceded from there. We some how found a 2d runescape spread sheet with TONS of sprites off of Runescape. So, we changed the charecter, instead of being kirby, the guy was actually a person. The person was really ugly though. But we were not conserned about there untill we added diffrent genders.

Next came along quests. Then a store, or two.

We just kept on adding. But soon we realized that it kept on getting harder, and harder to add...

Eventually we gave up.. We published a .gmk on yoyogames. This was, of course, the 2d one.

It got 100 plays in 1 week of it being up. The game was over 60mb(really big for a game), so we decided to remove it.

We worked on it for about 4 more mounths. Then we hit a bump. We tried to get a freind on it. But we did not know of all the other random stuff that we had to do. We kept of trieng and treing... Painful? yes.

We gave the 2d version over to 7legos, the owner of "Sernt"

We gave up for about a month... Then we decided to attempt to make a 3d version.

The begining graphics where really bad compared to now. We had to start to make models. But how do we make models if we are horrid at doing it? So we used a really simple program, called "Shape maker"

We started to copy some of the 3d programming, and models from the 3d rpg test. Some of you know what that is.

After a while, we decided to try to get a friend on again. Still nothing... And still painfull...

We started to google how to get our game "online"   Nothing...

Then we found a game called "Sernt"

That encouredge us to keep on going. Because we knew that it was possible to make an online game on game maker.

We kept on treing, and treing... Over and over... It felt like a needle stabbing through your thumb.

We got sick, and tired of waiting.. So we gave up.. We lost hope.

That is, untill we decided to give Henke96 the server, and see if it was to work for him.

We were sucsesful! And now we keep on working on it! treing, day after day, to get it to work..

In total this project took us, about a year.

THANK YOU HENKE96!
